1973 FORD FALCON XA GT REPLICA HARDTOP

This is a tough built 1973 Ford Falcon XA GT Replica Hardtop. These XA Hardtops are extremely desirable cars and with less than 1000 real GT Hardtops built, a tough replica like this is a great option at a fraction of the price. The beauty of a replica is you have some licence to do some upgrades and make a car that will outperform the real deal, which is the case here.

The XA started life as a Copper Bronze, Saddle trim, 302 ci V8 Fairmont. A well spec’d car from the factory rather than a base model 6 banger. The car had been upgraded some time ago with all the GT gear including GT blackouts, bonnet flutes, fluted guards, rear spoiler, and extra lights. The paint has been on the car for some time and whilst it presents very well, it should be noted that it does have some pimpling in various locations that you can see up close in certain light, but you may not pick it up in the pictures. Inside, the trim has been switched over to black with the correct GT instrumentation and steering wheel. The look is completed with a set of 15-inch Globe wheels with white lettered BF Goodrich T/A tyres.

Sitting in the engine bay is a 393 ci Cleveland V8 that has been fully rebuilt and worked by G-Force Performance Centre in 2016. There is an invoice for the engine build (with specifics available upon request) totalling $18,600 not including the cost of the engine itself! There is a dyno chart from 2017 with the car making an extremely healthy 431.7 hp at the rear wheels. The engine is paired to a 4-speed manual top loader transmission and power is fed to the rear wheels with a Ford 9-inch diff.

These XA Falcon Hardtops are extremely desirable and collectable cars. This one being a factory V8 car and transformed into a tough GT replica, makes it even more attractive.
