This 1964 Ford Fairlane compact coupe has come to us from a private collection. These Compact Fairlanes were never sold here in Australia but a fun little cars with V8 horsepower in a small package. This car has been restored in the US before being imported to Australia. The body of the car is very well presented and has been repainted in it original colour of Dynasty green metallic. The chrome and bright work have all been refurbished or replaced. The car sits over a set of colour coded steel wheels with dog dish caps.

Inside the trim is neatly finished in black vinyl with metallic silver highlights. Creature comforts include power steering and power brakes. There are bucket seats with a console sporting the period correct Hurst manual shifter and a period style aftermarket steering wheel. Inside the boot has been panelled out and neatly finished with carpet. Under the bonnet is a 289ci V8 engine paired to a 4 speed manual transmission. The engine bay is very neatly presented in a factory look. A rare car in Australia and a great alternative to a Mustang for a guy who wants something a little bit different.
