1955 Chevy Bel Air Sports Coupe

This 1955 Chevrolet Belair has been neatly modified to combine the best of modern performance and reliability with the classic styling of a 55 Chevy. The current owner purchased the car on the Gold Coast 3 years ago in its current condition having been recently restored by the previous owner. The car has proven to be a fun and reliable weekend cruiser. The paint and body have been refinished in red and pearl white. The chrome has all been refinished or replaced. There are a number of accessories which lower side moulding and grille protector. Under the bonnet is a late model, fuel injected 5.7L LS1 V8 engine. The engine is paired to a 4L60E automatic transmission and power is fed to the wheels with a 12 bolt diff. The suspension up front has been converted to tubular arms with coil overs and power steering. The rear end is four-linked with coil overs. Pulling everything up is four-wheel power disc brakes with a dual master cylinder. Inside is neatly finished with a Dakota digital dash cluster. There is air conditioning for comfort and a Bluetooth stereo. The car sits on a set of 20” Coy C5 wheels. The car is very well presented all round and with six seats, has enough room for the whole family. The vehicle is fitted with a QLD mod plate.
