This 1971 Chevy Camaro is one of the popular 2nd generation cars. The car is neatly presented in bold red paintwork with black stripes. The car has been converted to a RS style split front bumper. The hood is a fiberglass cowl item and there is front and rear spoilers. To complete the look the car sits on a set of polished 15” American Racing Torq Thrust wheels wrapped in white lettered tyres.
Inside the car is neatly finished with a factory style black interior. The front bucket seats are split with a console that houses the horseshoe style automatic shifter. There is a trio of aftermarket gauges to help keep an eye on the vital signs. The car is great to cruise in year round thanks for the addition of air conditioning. Creature comforts include power steering and a power disc brake front end.
Under the bonnet is a 350ci V8 engine that was fully rebuilt just prior to the current owners tenure. The engine features an Edelbrock intake and Brawler Carburettor. Spark is supplied by an MSD 6AL-2 with two step rev limiter with an MSD Blaster coil. Some nice billet style valve covers along with a matching air cleaner give the bay a neat appearance. The engine is paired to a Turbo 350, 3 speed automatic transmission. Helping to keep everything cool is the addition of twin thermo fans. The car has a great sound thanks to a set of aftermarket headers and custom exhaust.
