1959 Chevrolet El Camino

This 1959 Chevrolet El Camino has been neatly rebuilt over 4 years by the current owner. The car was stripped back to a bare metal shell and refinished and rebuilt. The car is well presented in Black over white paintwork with all of the chrome and stainless refinished or replaced. The suspension and power drum brakes were all reconditioning during the rebuild and new power steering was added to enhance the driving experience.

The Elco is fitted with a 350ci GM Performance Goodwrench V8 engine with Edelbrock Manifold. Headers and a dual exhaust give the car a nice note out the back. The engine is paired to a 4 speed manual transmission with Hurst floor shifter. Inside the car is all neatly trimmed and painted having been completely retrimmed during the rebuild in tuxedo style black and white. The door trims, bench seat and headliner were all refinished. The paintwork and chrome on the dash has all been replaced or refinished. The original style spare wheel is in place behind the front seat. Inside the tub has all been repainted in body colour and is covered with a black vinyl tonneau cover. The car sits lowered down over a set of black 15″ steel wheels that have been widened with factory dress trims and hub caps. These 1959 El Camino’s are extremely popular among collectors and hard to find in restored condition.
